Our rates (in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST) are simply determined, regardless of the day, season or cottage, both to ease your cost calculation and affordability. Due to the cottage sizeable offerings and related cleaning, A MINIMUM TWO NIGHT STAY IS REQUIRED. A one night stay exception is sometimes made for the Studio Suite unit, especially if a mid-week booking or a soon to be taken stay when an available vacancy, but MAY be subject to an added $50 surcharge to cover the related cleaning cost.
All cottages begin with a BASE DAILY RATE of $198 (which covers two guests), except for the Studio Suite unit, which base daily rate is $155 (covers two guests).
Each ADDITIONAL GUEST is subject to an added $30 daily rate. There is no charge for a child under age three, provided the child sleeps in either your provided or our supplied cot (at no charge) without using a cottage bed. There is no charge for an accompanying pet. We restrict the pet number to two per cottage, and our Pet Policy conditions apply (see our website's "Features" subpage). We must be notified during the booking process of, and we limit, both the number of approved guests and any permitted visitors, all subject to the additional daily guest charge. (For example, a group of three cottage guests incurs a total $228 daily rate [i.e. $198+$30=$228], a $258 daily rate for four guests, a $288 daily rate for five guests, a $318 daily rate for six guests and $348 for seven guests). Our cottage group rates compare favourably to competing hotel\motel\B&B rates when couples are instead charged for each separate bedroom.
A 10% DISCOUNT applies to stays beyond the third day (except for holidays), and only if the booking is made directly and exclusively through this website (not via any third-party website or their forwarded inquiry system for which a commission becomes payable).
A 50% deposit of your total stay cost is required before any reservation is accepted and the booking confirmation e-mailed to you (with driving directions). The remaining stay cost (with any adjustments) is payable during the check-out process. Payment is either by cheque (payable to “Cooroy Country Cottages,” by EFTPOS available at the office, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express accepted [an added 1% surcharge applies to AMEX]).
Cancellations occurring more than 30 days prior to the reserved arrival date receive a full refund of the required deposit less a 20% administrative cost fee. Cancellations on or before 15 days of the reserved arrival date receive a 50% refund of the required deposit amount. No refunds apply to any cancellation occurring less than 15 days before the arrival date.
The Check-In Time is no earlier than 2 p.m. The Check-Out Time is no later than 11 a.m. No cost adjustment is made for later arrivals or earlier departures. However, unless with prior notice and approval by management, the daily rate will be charged for earlier arrivals or later departures.
Management reserves the right to re-assign a booked cottage. This may occur either to accommodate an elderly or disabled guest’s needs, if a three bedroom cottage is required for a larger guest group, or to accommodate a longer guest stay. Guests are also implicitly legally liable for any resulting damages to either the cottage or its furnishings whether reported by the guests or determined by management.
